About Biomedic Skin Care Products by La Roche-Posay
La Roche-Posay is a pharmaceutical laboratory originating from a small village in the center of France. Unique water, flowing exclusively in this village, has been known for centuries to have beneficial effects on the skin. Today, these beneficial effects on the skin have been proven through intensive modern research science. This thermal water and the intensive dermatological skincare center built on site have become the foundation of the company La Roche-Posay Laboratoire Pharmaceutique.
In 1989, La Roche-Posay became part of the L'Oréal Group, and has since benefited from both L'Oréal's dermatological research and from its scientific expertise while keeping it's own formulation laboratory dedicated to serving all skincare physicians.
