The CosMedix philosophy is based around the principle that inflammation is the core cause of all skin conditions.
Traditional skin care lines have primarily selected ingredients that create inflammation when addressing these common skin care problems (artificial colours, fragrances, artificial preservatives, sodium lauryl sulfate, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, etc) CosMedix took it a step further by not only removing the irritants, but making the majority of our active ingredients less irritating as well. This is done by a process called chiral correction.
When we avoid increasing inflammation in the skin with irritants, we have already begun to improve those conditions. In addition, we use a very high concentration of active ingredients that communicate with the skin and work with it’s natural ability to repair itself.
